Mr. Clinton What Happened?

This week former President Clinton announced that Congress should be careful in what they say because of the rise in Right Wing Extremism.  Then Mr. Clinton went on to say  "it should not be forgotten what drove the Oklahoma bombers. They took to the ultimate extreme an idea advocated in the months and years before the bombing by an increasingly vocal minority: the belief that the greatest threat to American freedom is our government and that public servants do not protect our freedoms but abuse them."

So now you are linking the OC bombing to the Tea Partiers?  What are you trying to say Mr. Clinton?  Needless to say that today was very uneventful.  No bombings, no hate rallies, No one getting all crazy because of what Tim McVeigh, a Domestic Terrorist, decided to to that fateful day 15 years ago.

The Tea Partiers are not hateful, we do not want to destroy the Government, we do not want to blow up buildings, or kill people.

Mr. President I think you need to apologize for your remarks you should also apologize for your lousy presidency.

Are you Serious?

During the April 11, TPE in Clinton Township my Uncle Bob, Cousin Keith, Dad and I were interviewed by an independent blogger named Matt Lane.  He has his own blog (which can be found here) Politifeed and you can also become a fan of his Facebook page Politifeed Fan Page.

Now he interviewed us for a good 5-10 minutes, I will be fair and say that he did ask some good questions however, he claims to be unbiased, but as I am about to show you he is not.

Here is the video...
Clinton Township TPE

You can see us at the 1:15 mark and we got 10 seconds in this video.  And the only line that he used was from my Uncle Bob saying "no we are not upset, we are pissed."  Here is my question to Mr. Lane.  You claim to be an unbiased journalist but this video clearly shows you being biased.  You cut from the video what you Choose to show.  Show everything we said to you Mr. Lane.  We made good valid points and because they did not fit your point of view you decided to cut it out.

I told you from the beginning that I knew that you were a lib.  I watched you operate the whole time.  You want to be unbiased show the whole video.  I look at your Facebook fan page and all you talk about is liberal issues you do not have a fair and balanced point of view.

Don't come back either and say that I don't either, because I will tell you I don't.  I try to look at things from a liberal point of view but I can't stomach the nonsense.

I told you I would come to your site, I told you that you were a liberal.  You did an excellent editing job I just wish your blog followers knew how biased you really are.

Tax Day Tea Party

This Thursday Americans tired of big Government and more taxes took to the streets and protested.  The news media would like to portray us as racists and uneducated morons but we know the truth.  My family and I decided to go to Lansing and protest at the Capital.  We had a great time and the speakers we very informative and at times very entertaining.  Our last speaker was amazing.  Unfortunately I did not get his name or website and can not find it anywhere.  If someone knows the name of this speaker or has a way to find this information out I would really like to know.  I believe he is on AM radio in Flint Michigan.

Again the MSM was pathetic I read every article that I could find about the Tea Parties that took place all over the state and every single one just HAD to interview the one progressive that was there.  I know that we need to be fair and balanced but they point out on the tea party side the crazies.  They find the person with the most on unbelievable sign and interview them.  Like the Hitler LaRoache signs (just so you know MSM that is a democrat that makes those signs).  And then they don't even talk about the real issues.  We are not anti-taxes and anti-government.

The tea party protesters are anti-big government they believe that we are Taxed Enough Already not that we should not pay any taxes.  They are people from all races, and all political affiliations.  But the media will not portray us that way.  They will not tell you the real story, because stories based on facts don't make the news.  Stories based on a liberal bias do.

Andy Stern

Well I had a very long day and I was going to talk at length about Andy Stern stepping down from the head of the SEIU but it is late so I will just copy and paste the morning bell from the Heritage Foundation.

If you are not a fan of the Heritage Foundation I highly suggest it.  You can reach them here www.heritage.org they offer a morning bell newsletter to your mail box each morning they also have a blog called the Foundry.  They are a conservative site have a lot of great information.

Last night, Politico reported that Service Employees International Union President Andrew Stern is expected to resign and, according to The New York Times, the resignation is about to happen very soon. If Stern does resign, he will be doing so while at the top of his game. Stern told The Las Vegas Sun last year: "We spent a fortune to elect Barack Obama - $60.7 million to be exact - and we're proud of it." President Obama is well aware of his huge debt to the SEIU. That is why he admits in his autobiography, "I owe those unions." And it also explains why Stern is the most frequent Obama White House visitor, according to official visitor logs.

Stern's access to President Obama has already paid huge dividends including: an $862 billion stimulus that prevented states from having to cut-back government union jobs or wages$2.5 trillion in new government health care spending, much of which will go to unionizedhealth care providers; and the appointment of SEIU associate general counsel Craig Becker to the National Labor Relations Board. The NYT describes the SEIU under Stern's tenure as "the nation’s most politically active union, with 1.9 million members." The marriage of politics to union organizing has been great for SEIU membership, making it the fastest-growing union in America.

But what has been great for SEIU's membership rolls has not been good for the SEIU's bottom line. Growing union membership through politics is expensive. The Wall Street Journal reports that as recently as 2002, total SEIU liabilities were about $8 million. But by 2008, the union owed more than $156 million, a 30% increase over the $120 million it owed in 2007. And make no mistake, lobbying government is where Stern believes the future of SEIU is. After President Obama's election, SEIU fired 75 national field staff and organizers so that the SEIU could "reallocate resources ... to lobbying and communications in Washington."

In fact, taking a more critical look at SEIU's recent growth, The Washington Post reports: "some of its biggest gains in recent years were less the result of shoe-leather organizing and more the result of deals with major employers or politicians -- including former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich." Specifically,Blagojevich signed a state law handing over 49,000 state child care workers to SEIU local 880which is run by the notorious community organizing group ACORN.The deal nearly tripled SEIU 880’s income from $7 million in 2005 to $21 million in 2007. This came after SEIU’s Illinois Political Action Committee gave Gov. Blagojevich $908,000, making it the single largest campaign contributor for his re-election campaign.

It is no coincidence that under Stern's tenure the number of government union members surpassed the number of private sector union members for the first time in our nation's history. There are two reasons for this: 1) Unions kill private sector jobs, and unionized companies earn profits 15% lower than those of comparable non-union firms. This makes unionized firms less competitive, which is why unionized manufacturing jobs fell 75% between 1977 and 2008, while non-union manufacturing INCREASED 6% over that same time. 2) Government union jobs face no competition. Public sectorunionization has exploded in the past decade as leaders like Stern realized politics paid much better than the free market.Under Stern's leadership, SEIU has become the nation's second largest government union with over half of its membership drawing a paycheck on the taxpayers dime.

Explaining how organized labor really works, US Court of Appeals judge for the 7th Circuit Richard Posner recently wrote:
The goal of unions is to redistribute wealth from the owners and managers of firms, and from workers willing to work for very low wages, to the unionized workers and the union’s officers. … Unions, in other words, are worker cartels. … There is also a long history of union corruption. And some union activity is extortionate: the union and the employer tacitly agree that as long as the employer gives the workers a wage increase slightly above the union dues, the union will leave the employer alone.

Except that in Stern's America, union management no longer redistribute wealth from firms to union members. With the majority of union members now working for the governmentAndy Stern and his cohorts are extorting money from you, the taxpayer. And where is that money going? Not into shoring up union member pensions. Those are woefully underfunded. No, the Andy Sterns of the world turn around and use their taxpayer-funded government union dues to lobby for an even larger government that can pay for even more government union jobs. Andy Stern's America is a perpetual government dependency machine.

And don't think for a second that Stern's retirement means he is gone for good. Stern is still a proud member of President Obama's deficit commission. Complete reliance on government growth, crippling debt, and Blagojevich-style corruption. That is what Andy Stern did to the SEIU, and it is what Stern and President Obama will do to this country.

American Heritage and some news

I have been taking a class at Zion Christian Church for the last couple weeks.  Each week we watch a video from the American Heritage Series by David Barton and then hold a discussion afterwards.  This is a great class and an excellent video I recommend it to everyone.  It teaches you the actual history of the United States, you know our Christian Heritage.  The class is free and welcome to anyone.  It meets on Wednesday nights and there is 4 weeks left.  If you are interested let me know.

Also I have been reading the 5000 year leap: a miracle that changed the world.  Which again is another great find if you want to know how our Founding Fathers established the Constitution.

Obama signs a Nuclear Treaty with Russia last week to shrink the arsenals of the United States and Russia declaring that we will not use nukes for defense and if a Country should attack us with chemical/biological warfare.  And today we see this Nuclear risks have risen.  REALLY?  No freaking way!  Oh the irony.  Here's the deal the risk of terrorist attacks with nuclear weapons have risen.  Why?  Because you have given the green light to terrorists.  You have made it known that, one you are reducing the number of nuclear weapons in the Country.  Two, you have made it known that you are now not willing to use nuclear weapons in defense of an attack.  Three, you have basically shut down the "star wars" program.  GENIUS!
Hey Obama do you remember that oath you took when you came into office?  Just asking.

FACT CHECK

Here is another great story

Baffled by Healthcare

So Congress read the bill huh?  I don't think so.  Today it was announced that Congress who thought that they would be keeping the wonderful healthcare that they receive, might have accidentally given it away :(.
Is this the straw that breaks the camels back?  Is the law going to be repealed now?  Probably not, but I am sure that a lot of Congress men and women are re-thinking their excellent bill.

(you know its funny because its not like they were going to get to keep that great health insurance anyway, they are all gone in NOVEMBER).

And if you have time check this out

Tomorrow: Andy Stern resigns?  Wonder what he's up too.  Maybe that Debt Commission he's on is taking up too much time.

TEA PARTY EXPRESS (TPE)

Sunday was the Clinton Twp. TPE.  Around 4000 people attended the event.  There wasn't much balanced news coverage the reports can be found here.

I have a sort of bias since I was featured in the Michigan Capital Confidential, however if you do not subscribe to this site you may want to check it out.  At the TPE I was asked by a Tom Gantert what do you think is the goal of the Tea Party?  What do you want to see happen?

So what is the goal of the Tea Party?  Do we want to see a third party emerge?

What I would like to see is a balance.  We are a nation with checks and balances and right now that is not what we have.  We need to get rid of the politicians that think they know what is best for the Country.  The politicians that think that they know what is best.  I do not think that we need to have a third party emerge at least not at this time.  What I would like to see is the Republican party get back to the principles of which they stand.  We need to take control of either the House or Senate, to have a balance in order to stop this madness.

We need people in the Senate and House that are representative of the people and not themselves.  We need to get people in Congress that actually read the Constitution, and abide by it.  We need less taxes, less Government, and more of our Liberties and freedoms.

Do I think Republicans are the answer?  Nope.  They are part of the problem.

So I ask what do you think?
