Debbie Does Government Agencies too.

Instead of the S E C (the securities and exchange commission) doing their job, policing the financial system, they were downloading hours of porn on Government issued computers throughout the worst collapse of the economy in 70 years.
The SEC's inspector general conducted 33 probes of employees looking at explicit images in the past five years, according to a memo obtained by The Associated Press.

The memo says 31 of those probes occurred in the 2 1/2 years since the financial system teetered and nearly crashed.

Not only does this violate Government wide ethics rules but it was all done on... You guessed the American taxpayers expense.

The report comes just days after the
S E C charged Goldman Sachs with fraud and days before the Senate tries to overhaul the financial system.

The memo was written by SEC Inspector General David Kotz in response to a request from Republican Sen. Charles Grassley. It summarizes past inspector general probes and reports some shocking findings:

-- A senior attorney at the SEC's Washington headquarters spent up to eight hours a day looking at and downloading pornography. When he ran out of hard drive space, he burned the files to CDs or DVDs, which he kept in boxes around his office. He agreed to resign, an earlier watchdog report said.

-- An accountant was blocked more than 16,000 times in a month from visiting websites classified as "Sex" or "Pornography." Yet he still managed to amass a collection of "very graphic" material on his hard drive by using Google images to bypass the SEC's internal filter, according to an earlier report from the inspector general. The accountant refused to testify in his defense, and received a 14-day suspension.

-- Seventeen of the employees were "at a senior level," earning salaries of up to $222,418.

-- The number of cases jumped from two in 2007 to 16 in 2008. The cracks in the financial system emerged in mid-2007 and spread into full-blown panic by the fall of 2008.

Another Government Agency that fails to protect the markets and the American people.

I'm a socialist

This week former ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis told a young Democratic Socialist group that they should "do everything they can to build their organization and the times we are living in are worse then the Jim Crow era."

She then went on to say "Any of these groups that says, "I'm young, I'm Democratic, and I'm a socialist," is okay with me. You know that's no light thing to do -- to actually say, I'm a socialist."

But wait there's more "They are coming. And they are coming after you. And they are going to be brutal and oppressive. They've already shown it. ... This is not rhetoric or hyperbole -- this is real. ... This tea party so-called movement -- a bowel-movement in my estimation -- and this blatant uncovering and ripping off the mask of racism..."

Here is why this is such a big deal or as Joe Biden would say "a big f**king deal.". One, although ACORN "disbanded" when they were caught on video helping "clients" cover up a prostitution ring. Unfortunately they never actually disbanded and to make matters worse Congress who took away there federal funding months ago just reinstated it.

Two, like I just said they receive federal funding and they received huge amounts of money in Obama's "stimulus" bill. Why should my tax money go to this socialist group?

Three, they covered up or at least tried to cover up voter fraud.

The problem I have is that Obama is very close to this group I mean he practically started his career there. And to top it off the only reason they were included in the stimulus is because Obama had to give them a kickback for helping him get elected.

So our taxpayer money will still go to ACORN and we still will fund liars and the only way to change it is to vote them out in November.
