YOU'RE FIRED! F the FIRST AMENDMENT.

Juan Williams analyst for NPR and long time regular guest was fired from the TAXPAYER FUNDED news organization NPR for comments made on Bill O'Reilly, so what did he say:

"Look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."

And how did NPR respond to these comments?

"His remarks on The O'Reilly Factor this past Monday were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR,"

REALLY?!?!?! NPR editorial standards, calling people TEABAGGERS.  LOL!

And here is some more ridiculous statements from NPR.

Newbusters - Double Standards and Newsbusters - Juan Williams

Let me tell you something, I do not agree with Juan Williams often, in fact I rarely agree with his views, but should he be fired for stating his opinion?  Nope.  He feels like many Americans, in fact I will tell you I am terrified to fly because of 9/11, and I have the same reaction.  Just like if I was to be raped, I would be terrified by all men, and it is not a rational fear.  The odds of me being raped again would be slim, but I would always have that thought with me.

Am I a bigot because of this?  Am I insensitive?  No I am scared and I am human.  Just like Juan Williams.  This hypocrisy has to stop.  Political Correctness has gone way to far, we can no longer speak how we feel for fear that we might lose a job, or be considered racist, or a bigot.

I guess the First Amendment only applies to liberals, yet again.
